Hales AC was founded in 1986 by Greg and Steve, and it served the community for decades with honest, local HVAC service. In 2022, the torch was passed to two seasoned HVAC professionals George and Jeremy who brought new energy, a fresh vision, and a deep focus on elevating the customer experience.
George and Jeremy didn’t just buy a company — they rebuilt it from the inside out.
They reimagined Hales AC as a brand fueled by urgency, professionalism, and trust. A company owned by real people — not private equity firms or big investment firms. A company where every technician is professionally trained, Professional, and proudly in-house. A company that shows up with fully stocked trucks and a can-do, get-it-done attitude — every time.
And they brought that vision to life through Captain Right Away — our mascot, our mission, and our promise. He’s the embodiment of how we serve: fast, reliable, and ready to save the day for every homeowner who calls.

Hales AC was founded in 1986 by the Hales family and has been part of Right Away Home Services LP since 2022, led by George and Jeremy — two Tampa Bay HVAC pros who've spent 40+ years making sure families stay cool in the summer and warm on those rare Florida cold snaps. So we decided to give them the capes they've earned.

George leads our service team. When your AC dies on a 95° Tampa afternoon, the orange cape shows up. He's the reason "right away" is a promise, not a marketing line — 40 years of making sure Tampa Bay homeowners never sweat it out waiting for help.

Jeremy runs the offers and financing side of the business — his whole job is making sure you don't pay a dollar more than you should.
